LAILAPS is a search engine which provides an exploration of plant genomic data for forward genetic research and comprises millions of quarterly updated and indexed information from major life science databases as well as millions of evidence ranked gene annotations to associate these facts to plant genome loci.
LAILAPS has been developing since 2007 as IR research project and is now part of the transPlant consortium , which aims to build a transnational plant genomics infrastructure. LAILAPS is supported by the European Commission within its 7th Framework Program, under the thematic area ''Infrastructures''.
